This is (in my opinion) the undisputed best donair in Saskatoon. One of the original donair places to grace downtown saskatoon prior to Donair chains popularizing, Super donair has brought authentic great food to downtown Saskatoon for over a decade. If you have a hankering, then I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend giving them a call to place an order! You’ll be glad you did:)

Here is a local cafe, only steps off of Idylwyld drive in the heart of Saskatoon. ?This small cafe, is a must visit for those in your group that have food restrictions like diary or vegan, as they have a healthy number of options for people of every palette. Their menu houses not only coffee and pastries but also full course meals. Keep your eyes peeled for when they try new recipes incorporating spicy or earthy flavours like cayenne or turmeric to really explore your taste buds!

Citizen Cafe and Bakery

Recommended by friends among the Latin American community, this taco/beer joint hits the nail on the head when it comes to a great offering. Their tacos are reasonably priced and offer amazing value. If you’re lucky enough to visit during the warmer months, you can enjoy the outdoor patio with some local brews. If tacos is what you’re after, look no further than Shelter!

Recommended by friends among the Latin American community, this taco/beer joint hits the nail on the head when it comes to a great offering. Their tacos are reasonably priced and offer amazing value. If you’re lucky enough to visit during the warmer months, you can enjoy the outdoor patio with some local brews. If tacos is what you’re after, look no further than Shelter!

This small restaurant, located across from the well known Scotiabank theatre, is a trendy breakfast nook in the mornings and an the evening, it transforms into Flints Saloon a high end martini lounge. This offers the best of both worlds with great morning and night life. One dish that I would recomend is their Benedict, as well, look out for their delicious herby tomato salad!

Some of the boarder in neighbourhoods of downtown that should be on your explore list: Caswell Hill, Riversdale, Riverlanding & Broadway. These neighbourhoods are just on the outskirts of the majority of festivals that bless this beautiful city throughout the year.
