National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, with its interactive exhibits, artifacts and Plaque Gallery. The Farmers’ Museum depicts 19th-cenuhtury farm life, and includes craft demonstrations and a hand-carved carousel. The Fenimore Art Museum features American fine art and folk art, plus a garden with lake views. The National Little League Association(up to 13yr olds) hosts tournaments in their 25 fields(50 different teams, every week) throughout the summer. Costs you nothing to park or observe these games. The facilities are something the NLLA can be very proud of. The competition and quality of play by these young players from around the USA is fun to experience. This +25 year tradition has brought an economic boost to Cooperstown, once only thriving during "induction" week, and regular traffic from ardent baseball fans. The Fenimore House, Farmers Museum are also worthwhile visits, all within a stone throw of Lake Otsego.

This estate, was the second home to John Lincklaen, founder of Cazenovia, representing the Holland Land Co, funded by the Cazenove family, residing in Dutchland at the time, thus called Cazenovia. John Lincklaen originally lived on Foreman St, where their land office (stone structure, originally 2 very large rooms, now with 2nd floor, circa 1990) can still be seen next to Lakeland Park. Fire destroyed the 21 Foreman St home, and Lorenzo took shape. Lincklaen resurrected "Willowbank" at 21 Forman Street, larger than before, for his niece. The current Willowbank Yacht Club was once John Lincklaen's carriage house & boat house.
