Atlantic Beach / Neptune Beach has a newly-built town center that's full of amazing restaurants and bars. Check out North Beach Fish Camp for great seafood, Coop 303 for more upscale Americana food, and Doro for more upscale dining. Try Hawkers or Flying Iguana for casual fare.
Pete's Bar is the late night place. It's a fun mix of tourists and locals, and it has pool, ping pong, and foosball, BUT it's also a grimy dive bar that lets patrons smoke inside. Enter if ye dare.

Casa Marina Hotel has a nice rooftop lounge overlooking the beach. They have good drinks but just ok food. Go for the views.
Margaritaville is next door and also offers outdoor dining overlooking the beach. It's a chain so keep your expectations low.
Jax Spice has excellent Indian food - really good spot for dinner.
Eleven South is upscale fine dining on 11th Ave S.
