Newton on Ouse is excellent for walking both along the river and also around the grounds of Beningborough hall. We have two excellent pubs and eateries in the village. The Dawney Arms a gastro pub sits by the river and bookings are essential. The Blacksmiths Arms across the road has good home cooking and a good atmosphere. For a treat the village farm shop and café is good for a break on a walk or Linton Lock house with food by Wendy.
