Looking for something relaxing to do? Take a stroll, or go fishing on this 990-foot pier, just south of Jupiter on A1A. Right across the street is Juno Beach Park, which offers free parking, restrooms, showers and picnic tables.

Dubois has always been a popular place for the littles, as it offers a protected lagoon, play structures, and plenty of picnic areas with grills, restrooms and showers. Dubois offers 1,200' of intracoastal access with day use boat slips, and a snorkeling lagoon for the bigs. A word of caution - the DuBois lagoon area is known to be closed occasionally (after heavy use) due to a high bacteria count as the lagoon doesn't fully 'flush' out :-(

For a unique experience, visit Blowing Rocks at high tide on a windy day. As the name implies, waves crash against rock formations jutting out of the water, blowing water sky high. A donation of $2-$5 per person is encouraged using the honor system.

They'll put you right on top of some good fish - grouper, cobia, mahi, snapper, king, depending on what's running... and an occasional marlin or sailfish! The Country Club is docked at Castaways Marina on the south side of the Jupiter Inlet, right behind the Square Grouper.

This unassuming hole-in-the-wall Latin market right down the street from the townhouse is home to one of the best burritos around. Their lightly battered fried shrimp is another favorite of mine. Great "takeout" spot for authentic latin food, e.g., barbacoa and carnitas.
