Flemingsburg has McDonald’s, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Arby’s, Subway, Pizza Hut, Giovanni’s Pizza (gluten free), Little Caesar’s, Dairy Queen and El Caminante.
Maysville has many fast food and several common food chains, like Applebee’s and Bob Evans, and some nicer restaurants.

Fleming County has four historic covered bridges. If you can't see them all, the Goddard Bridge, just outside of Flemingsburg, is the one not to miss. Beautiful photo opportunity. Free.

We are very close to Blue Licks State Park on Highway 68 in Robertson County. There is a nice lodge, where meals are served, and a gift shop. They also have a historic museum,. public pool, and hiking trails.

Maysville is a pretty river town on the Ohio. There's the Kentucky Gateway Museum, the National Underground Railroad Museum, and Pogue Brewery, which recently put Maysville on the official Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

There are numerous historic sites, such as the Mary Todd Lincoln House and Ashland, the estate of Henry Clay. There are trampoline parks, etc. for the kids, and so many places to shop and eat! The scenic drive from our farm to Lexington only takes one hour (highway 68).

Cave Run Lake is an 8,000 acre reservoir in the northern part of the Daniel Boone National Forest, near Morehead. There's a sand beach ($) and lots of fishing.

This is a massive ship, depicting the story of Noah's Ark, with museum exhibits and a zoo, in Williamstown. Family friendly. It takes about an hour and a half to get there from Haymark Farm.
