A must see day trip in Transylavania is to Sinaia! Here you can visit the beautiful Neo Renaissance Peleș castle. I reccommend to visit it early in the afternoon because of the traffic and many tourist’s.

Cruise along one of the Europe’s most scenic mountain roads (Transfăgărășan highway- closed from october to june) in the carpathian mountains. I definitly reccomend this beautiful day trip and suggest to leave early in the morning.

Poiana Brașov is a “nice tiny mountain village” with friendly people. Loved by romanian tourists for skiing (good value for money) and the really unique views from the top. Also in summer you can have here a lot of fun and things to do.

Truly spectacular hike, it is worth the effort. Located just outside Brasov (you can reach it by car or bus), this canyon has recently been repaired and is again accessible to visitors. You have to walk for approx. 30 min. from the main road to reach it. A little bit difficult for small children. There is also a tiroliana available to go back down.
