Rockefeller Center is in the heart of Manhattan! It can be conveniently accessed via public transportation, but I recommend making the beautiful 40 minute walk from the apartment!

If you love science & nature, this is a must-see! It's about a 35 minute walk from the apartment or you can take the M79 bus across Central Park. Highly recommended, and my favorite in all of NY!

From the apartment, take the downtown 6 train to Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall and it's about a 10 minute walk from there to the 9/11 memorial. Somber, yet impactful and historical, it's worth a visit.
