Also unique because of its large grassy outdoor seating area shaded by large gum trees. A great place to while away the hours over a leisurely lunch on a sunny day. Brisk, friendly service.

A must see lookout at the end of Shipley Rd, Blackheath. Magnificent views to the south. A great place for sunsets and stargazing on clear nights, especially in winter. While you're in the area, if it's open, drop into Logan Brae orchard for fresh apples and apple juice.

A day trip along the Castlereagh Highway including Lithgow, Wallerawang, Wolgan Valley, Capertee, Kandos, Dunns Swamp and Rylstone. Push on a little further to historic Gulgong and Henry Lawson country. The Gallery Gulgong is a fine commercial gallery featuring works by local potters and painters.
