Hikes

Sun Valley has amazing hiking trails in all directions. There is no need to drive very far to get into some amazing places
Park at River Run and hike to the lookout over Ketchum on the Bald Mountain Trail. 4 mile trial (Round Trip) to a look out with great views of the Pioneer and Boulder Mountains.

Mountain Biking

The mountain biking in Sun Valley is some of the best in the country. There our several bike shops in the area that rent bikes. We recommend Sturtos or Backwoods.

The Greenhorn trail head is the staring point for several rides in a zone south of town. These are mixed use trails so be prepared for horses and motorcycles. The trails in this zone are best in the late spring and fall. Our favorite is the Imperial/Greenhorn loop. It can be ridden in either direction, but we like up counter clockwise (Greenhorn and down Imperial). https://www.trailforks.com/trails/greenhorn-to-imperial-gulch/
