Forest
“DescriptionEl Yunque National Forest is a tropical rainforest in northeastern Puerto Rico. From El Portal Visitor Center, a walkway winds through the surrounding treetops. Trails run to La Mina waterfall and Mount Britton, then up to the high-altitude dwarf forest. In the south are ancient petroglyphs, made by the area’s indigenous Taíno people. The forest comes alive with the nightly calls of coquí tree frogs.”

Park
“Be ready to be wowed as soon as you enter this wondrous natural attraction, tucked into the karst region of the north coast. Rio Camuy Cave formally named Parque Las Cavernas del Rio Camuy, designated the First Natural Delight of Puerto is “one of the world’s largest cave networks”. This is an excellent day trip just about 1 hour an 20 minute drive from San Juan, Puerto Rico. If you don’t want to drive yourself, you can conveniently book with a cavern tour guide who provide transportation from San Juan. (before going, check if they are open)”

Park
“What an amazing Hidden Gem right and beautiful San Juan. Puerto Rico has so many beautiful Parks but I think more tourists need to see. This one for example was so lovely. We saw chickens and iguanas basking in the Sun. The Banyan trees are so lovely providing lots of canopies , and the fort seems to be tucked in the middle of the park . And they were so many cute little areas. It was a great walk through. Wonderful place to have a picnic. Or just enjoy the beauty. ”

Beach
“Crashboat Beach is on the northwestern coast of Puerto Rico is situated in the municipality of Aguadilla It's a very popular beach which gets crowded on the weekends so get there early to park your car. They have several food vendors and music playing on the weekend as well. There is a long pier which is a great place to visit, go fishing and take photos. Its about a 35 minute car ride from our property and I recommend going there if you are in the area.”

Beach
“FLAMENCO Beach has been rated #2 of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Its long wide beach is great for all activities, from sunbathing on the soft, warm, white sand... to boogie boarding on the North shore... to mild wave bobbing and drinking the local Medalla beer closer down by the kiosks. The food kiosks serve several different types of foods and drinks. And let’s not forget the famous beached tank that creates a creative backdrop to any photo. (Golf cart accessible)”

“Just a few minutes down the road from Besos de Sol, this beautiful trail leads to gorgeous views of cliffs along the ocean. There is an "official" parking area, but they charge a ridiculous amount for parking. We recommend parking on the side of the road just a bit west of that entrance and walking in. The coast is open to the public, so no one has the right to charge you to go see it.”
