Asian Restaurant
“This Thai diner has a cool but unfussy vibe. The menu is mostly sharable and you can order wine by the carafe from the 'Wine Guy'. Crispy school prawns and suckling pig pancakes make great lazy afternoon drinking food. The air zings with spices and buzzes with conversation. Look out for fun touches like vintage propaganda posters and a Vietnamese cyclo by the door.”

“Most definitely one of the best coffees in a city obsessed with coffee. House-roasted by some of the most experienced and passionate roasters and coffee importers in the city, you'll be grateful you came here. Having said that, don't expect this to be a sit-down-for-hours experience. The cafe is tiny and you may not even find a seat. But it's worth it nevertheless.”

“Named for the printing press that originally stood here, Manchester Press is a huge lucent space softened with old timbers and quirky junkyard installations. The cafe offers a focused menu, but the coffee reigns here. Generating enviable acclaim only hours after its opening, this laneway cafe ceaselessly gathers steam among the coffee coterie.”

“What can say. It's the most crispy and fluffy croissant I have even had. They say it's the best in the world. But you can be the judge of that. Don't go for anything too fancy. An original and a chocolate will be enough. Match it with your favourite coffee. ”
