“This is our favourite beach! It has plenty of parking if you want to bring lots of beach gear with you. It has beautiful sand (especially half way down) and calm, clear water which is boat free. There is hardly any rock / coral / shell in the sand so you won’t need to wear beach shoes. The forest lining the beach provides shelter from the sun when you need it. There are loungers and parasols you can rent for the day. The beach is quite wide which means you will always find a quiet spot, even at weekends. Sundays are the busiest days at beaches in Mauritius with many locals enjoying their day off with family and friends, mainly in the shaded areas set back amongst the trees.”
