Beautiful 2 bed apartment located on a quiet street within yards of lovely Largs town centre just two minutes from the railway station and minutes to the promenade and the many shops , restaurants and pubs Largs has to offer. All the buses stop in the town centre just next to the railway station and taxi rank just yards from the apartment. If you are travelling by car we have private parking on site for your convienance.
A communal entrance with secure entry is in place at the apartment. The lounge is furnished to a high specification in a modern style with pleasant aspects towards the town. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and are of good proportion. The apartment has gas central heating and a modern fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a large walk in electic shower.
Largs is a wonderful base for a holiday if you want to visit Islands and cities alike or just relax by the seaside. My husband and i are reasonably well travelled and would never live anywhere else.

  • Mooi appartement in een rustige omgeving, schoon, volledig uitgerust en redelijke prijs, het is goed voor een kort of lang verblijf. De flat ligt dicht bij het openbaar vervoer, op slechts 5 minuten lopen van de universiteit van Paisley Campos, op 10 minuten lopen van het centrum van Paisley en station Paisley Gilmour Street, van daaruit is het gemakkelijk om het centrum van Glasgow in 12 minuten met de trein te bereiken, en de luchthaven van Glasgow in 10 minuten minuten met de bus. De gastheer is een heer en een eerlijk persoon, hij is een zeer snelle communicator en beschikbaar om elk probleem zo snel mogelijk op te lossen. Ik raad deze plek echt aan en ik zal zeker weer terug komen.

  • Fantastische verhuurder. A ++ .. echt nuttige en gemakkelijke communicatie. We verbleven een maand en plat is slechts 20 minuten rijden naar Glasgow. M&S en coöperatie op slechts een korte wandeling voor boodschappen. Gemakkelijk parkeren buiten plat. Goede waarde voor de prijs.

    Woodside is a stunning 1850s Victorian mansion. The beautifully renovated top floor apartment has two bedrooms and private bathroom. There is a seating area in the twin bedroom and a tea/coffee/snack area in the hall. An ideal base for visiting the area or for a stop-over. Grounds are extensive and views are breathtaking. Loch Long shore is at the bottom of the garden and there is an enclosed kids play area. Easy access to Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Arrochar Alps, Faslane and Coulport Naval bases.
    Bedroom 1 has a double bed, chest of drawers and dressing table. Views from the window are stunning. Bedroom 2 has two single beds, two comfy chairs, a coffee table and a wall mounted TV. The bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower attachment and, what we think, is possibly the best view from a bathroom in the world! The hallway has a coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge and snacks. There is wifi, internet (apple) TV, central heating with a dedicated thermostat for your apartment. All towels and bedding, crockery and cutlery are provided along with access to a washer and drier. A travel-cot and bedding is available on request. The Airbnb apartment is accessed up a shared staircase (41 stairs) – our family apartment (not Airbnb) is on the floor below. There is an area in the entrance hall for coats, boots and shoes. There is also space for buggies or 2 bikes. The gardens are beautiful and are on ongoing project with many plants of interest. If it is the right season you will be given fruit/veg from the garden and greenhouse. Please be aware there are 41 steps up to the apartment so it may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.
    Shops - Cove Store is about 2 mins drive away. It has beautiful local produce and all general supplies. A small supermarket (Co-Op) is 10 mins drive away in Rosneath and should provide for most needs. Other local amenities include a pharmacy, butchers and bank in Kilcreggan. There are two local cafes and a fine dining hotel all within 10 minutes drive.

  • Jills plaats was een van de prachtige luchtroutes waar ik ooit met vrienden / familie heb verbleven. Het was echt gezellig met een schilderachtig uitzicht op de tuin en de zee. Koffie, melk en wat eten waren ook voor ons voorzien. Jill reageerde ook snel als we vragen hadden en vroeg zelfs zorgvuldig hoe we zijn tijdens ons verblijf. We hebben ook Bonnie ontmoet, haar kat, die we van haar houden omdat ze lief is en van knuffels houdt. Jammer dat we er maar een dag konden blijven, maar onze vakantie in Schotland was een beetje kort. We zullen er zeker weer verblijven als we ooit terugkomen.

  • Jills plaats is geweldig. We verbleven slechts voor een nacht en we hadden graag langer willen blijven. De foto's liegen niet, het uitzicht is adembenemend. De plaats in het huis die was gewijd aan ons verblijf was erg schoon en schattig, perfect voor vier volwassenen. Jill gaf ons details, informatie, snacks en alles zodat we comfortabel konden zijn, een echte traktatie! We hadden graag langer willen blijven. PS: zolang je er bent, luister naar Jill en ga je naar de Linn Gardens. Het is heel dichtbij en vrij magisch!

Hoewel we winderig en zeer regenachtig weer hadden toen we in Cove waren, wilden we er graag zijn, de regio verkennen, genieten van de prachtige natuur tussen bos en heuvels en de zee.

    Welcome to The Mooring in the lovely coastal village of Fairlie on the Clyde. From the large bright windows in the lounge and both double bedrooms, enjoy the peaceful views over the shore-side cottages to the Clyde estuary beyond where yachts sail past. Watch the sunset behind the island of Great Cumbrae. The coastal walk passes the road end at the beach and public transport bus and train can be used to return to Fairlie if walking one way.
    The Mooring is a one-minute walk to the shore and a ten-minute gentle stroll along the shore to the Village Inn where meals are served daily. Sleeps up to 6 people plus infant in two bedrooms (king bed and twin beds which can create a further super king if preferred) and a double sofa bed in the lounge. If only 2 people are booking, either the king bed or twin bed room will me made available please request at time of booking. A travel cot is available for infants at no additional cost upon request at time of booking.. The train station is a ten-minute walk with hourly trains to Glasgow and Largs and the coastal bus stops right outside the Mooring Parking is not available onsite but free parking in lay byes just two minutes’ walk are readily available. (You can park at the main entrance to the apartments whist loading and unloading the car).
    Visit the local Village Inn food served daily just a 10 minute stroll along the beach. The coastal path passes the road end at ths beach.

Ingredients for a continental breakfast are provided in the kitchen space: tea ,coffee ,juice,milk bread and spreads.Guests are welcome to prepare food and hot drinks for them selves at any time .
    The communal areas of the flat are unusually spacious with lovely views across Glasgow
    The neighbourhood is a quiet early twentieth century Glasgow suburb with traditional buildings mixed with more contemporary ones.There are shops,cafes,pubs and restaurants in the vicinity.

  • Jane is een schattige vrouw. Ze woont in een zonnig en ingericht penthouse met smaak. Ze laat ons haar keuken gebruiken om te koken en maakt een heerlijk ontbijt bestaande uit ontbijtgranen, koffie, thee, sap, brood en fruitsalade. Ze gaf ons een aantal prachtige plaatsen om te bezoeken rond Glasgow en Edimburgh.

  • We hadden een geweldige ervaring bij Jane thuis. Jane reageert erg snel op berichten en heeft ons uitstekende instructies gegeven om de plaats te vinden. Toen we er voor het eerst aankwamen, ontdekten we dat we een eigen badkamer hadden, die we helemaal niet verwacht hadden en Jane wees er snel op dat we er geen extra of iets van hoefden te betalen. Dus dat was een leuke verrassing. Na een kleine rondleiding van Jane's place, werden we begroet met uitstekende thee en scones. Terwijl we onze thee hadden, vertelde ze ons alle dingen die we konden doen en de plaatsen die we konden bezoeken tijdens ons verblijf daar en ze had zelfs stadsplattegronden en boeken met meer toeristische informatie die we konden meenemen toen we het stadscentrum bezochten . Maar wat ik het leukst vond tijdens ons verblijf, was het ontbijt. Het was gewoon de beste. Beter dan de meeste hotelontbijt. Elke ochtend was er verse fruitsalade en gekookt spek, eieren, champignons en tomaten. En alsof dat nog niet genoeg was, was er nog steeds toast, brood, cake, melk, thee, muesli, yoghurt en ga zo maar door. Het appartement is erg mooi en ruim en ligt zeer dicht bij een bushalte direct naar het stadscentrum. De buurt heeft veel restaurants en pubs en parken in de buurt. En last but not least, Jane is een uitstekende gastvrouw. Ze vindt het heerlijk om zich te mengen met haar gasten en geweldige verhalen te vertellen die ons meerdere keren kapot maken. Ze geeft echt goede tips over wat te doen, waar te eten ... Dus in totaal kan onze ervaring daar niet veel beter zijn. Bedankt, Jane.

    Situated on the second floor of a 19th Century Victorian tenement, the small cosy loft apartment, extending to approximately 29 sqm, has a double bed in the bedroom, a fold down sofa bed in the living room, which is slightly narrower than a standard double bed, and traditional recess space off the living room with short single bed suitable for a child up to the height of 1.2m. The double bed is sited with one side against the wall so can be accessed from one side and the bottom only. The accommodation is ideally suited for couples or young families with one or two small children. Heating is by electric wall panel heaters and the living room also has an additional electric wood burning-style stove. Windows are traditional single glazed sash and casement. The bedroom and living room floors are carpeted, the hall laminate, sanded boards in the kitchen and a vinyl floor in the shower room. The shower is electric and hot water is provided by electric wall heaters. Summer and winter quilts are provided along with all bed linen, towels and tea towels. The apartment is of traditional and retro styling, not contemporary. The apartment has an assortment of games including chess, drafts, backgammon, scrabble, dominoes, jenga, cards and snakes and ladders. The apartment has excellent wifi provision.
    Outstanding sea views to the Isle of Bute and Isle of Arran in the distance. Quiet peaceful sea side location on Shore Road in the village of Kames which adjoins the neighbouring village of Tighnabruaich. The area is one of outstanding natural beauty on the West coast of Scotland, an ideal place to stay for rest, relaxation and recreation. The area has excellent hill walking and rambling routes, beautiful peaceful coastal walks, hidden bays and beaches. The Kames Hotel is only 5 minutes walk away - or 10 if you stroll along the beach. The hotel is exceptionally friendly with great food. The excellent Duncan's grocery store is about 10 minutes walk, providing a range of fresh vegetables, foods, beers and wines, newspapers, etc. Within Kames, and the adjoining village of Tighnabruaich, there are public tennis courts, 9 hole golf course, shinty pitch, sea fishing from pier, massage, hair dresser, 3 hotels with bars and restaurants, bistro, cafe, 2 supermarkets, art and antique shops, 2 post offices, etc. The area is good for bird watching and there is fresh water fishing with permits obtainable from the post office. The Scotsman newspaper identified the road from Glendaruel to Tighnabruaich as the best scenic drive in Scotland in it's issue of 29 March 2007.

The terrace is south facing so you would expect maximum sunlight possible at the terrace. The Clyde Arc (Squinty Bridge) is directly at eye level from this Penthouse so guests would have the best views possible day and night. Living room 2 has a sitting area with a dining table and an open plan kitchen. kitchen has all necessary items like cutleries, glasses, wine glasses, pots, pans, kettle, toaster, oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer etc. There is also a washing machine/washer dryer in the Penthouse. All guests would be provided towels/linens/sheets/duvets, etc. Please note that if you are a group and have a 9th and 10th guest coming, they can use the sofa beds in the living room. However please note there are no blinds in the living room. We opted not to put any blinds so that the views doesn't get disturbed. Therefore, please note that there will light in the living room in the morning. If your 9th and 10th guests don't mind this then it's okay, if not then please do not proceed with the booking. We are not providing blinds for the living areas so that the aesthetics and views do not get disturbed. The Penthouse comes with two car parking spaces. Guests would have access to a covered secured parking space (Remote fob keys would be provided - Gated entry) and also a Garage space (Lock up garage - keys would be provided for that as well). If our guests have electric cars, they can even charge their electric cars in the garage space as there is an electric switch in the garage, they would just need to bring their charging plugs along. Please note that this is a city centre area, if guests park their cars outside the allocated spaces they would get charged by parking wardens. There is 24 hours CCTV coverage. If you have a third car then paid parking is available nearby and charges could go up to £20-£25 a day in the area/city centre. There is a GYM (Separate charges apply).
    Shopping Centres, Restaurants, Clubs, Pubs, Casinos, Museums, Cinemas, Children Soft Plays - everything is very close by. Glasgow International Airport is about 15 minutes away. SSE HYDRO has been confirmed to be the second most busiest venue all around the world by BBC. Famous celebrities and singers like Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande etc have performed live at the Hydro concert hall. If our guests are visiting SSE HYDRO or SECC Armadillo, conference centre , they are just across the street from our Penthouse (2 minutes walk).

  • Het penthouse was super geweldig. Heel erg bedankt Shazy en Megan voor alle hulp en vroege check-in. We woonden in Glasgow en kenden de stad heel goed. We wilden met enkele familie vrienden samenkomen en wilden in het centrum van Glasgow blijven. We waren 7 volwassenen en 2 kinderen en naast de fatsoenlijke hotels zoals Hilton en Radisson vroegen ongeveer £ 700 per nacht en we moesten 3 aparte kamers boeken. We zagen Shazzy's Penthouse op Airbnb, het was ongeveer 25% -30% goedkoper dan hotels en zag er veel beter uit. Mijn kind heeft een zuivelallergie, dus het was belangrijk voor ons om een keuken te hebben en thuis te kunnen koken. Het penthouse was erg groot en op twee niveaus. We hebben genoten van tijd samen doorbrengen en koffie drinken in de ochtend op een groot terras met uitzicht op de rivier was een geweldige bonus. Mijn vrouw hield van de bedden. Het Penthouse heeft zojuist alle vakjes aangevinkt: centrale locatie, veilige ontwikkeling en buurt. Wat kunnen we nog meer vragen. Nogmaals bedankt Shazzy voor het feit dat je zo transparant, nauwkeurig en duidelijk bent, geen wonder dat je zoveel positieve opmerkingen hebt. We komen zeker nog een keer terug.

    The West End of Glasgow is often described as 'sophisticated', 'up market', 'trendy', 'arty' or 'hipster'. It is also where so many of the students hang out and as such has an incredible amount of bars and restaurants and has established itself as the most talked about going out area in the city. If bars are not your thing worry not, there is plenty more to do. The flat is close to the large park areas of Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens as well as the famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the world class Hydro music venue and SECC. The West End is just the best place in the city and is exactly what you make of it. My flat is located in Partick, an amazing West End neighbourhood with lots of history and tradition. Whilst the famous Ashton Lane, Byres Rd and Finnieston drinking/eating areas are all just a short 10min walk from the flat, Partick also has its own little haunts which I strongly recommend: On your doorstep is Dumbarton Rd, home to 8-10 traditional (and cheaper!) pubs where you'll experience a real friendly Glasgow welcome with live bands and fantastic prices! For example next door to the flat (10 second walk) is Glasgow's oldest bar, a cute little neighbourhood pub, a cosy no-frills place, where you can enjoy a whisky and meet the locals. My balcony also overlooks the cricket ground which interestingly hosted the first ever international football match, Scotland v England, over 140 years ago! Partick is packed full of history and crammed full of shops with everything you could possibly need within 2-3 mins walk!

The pool table and three sofas means that relaxing or hosting in this apartment is spacious and showstopping. We are happy to host lovely Airbnb guests in our contemporary, sleek penthouse. (Nov- March major repairs were completed In light of the recent developments concerning the COVID-19 outbreak, I am taking extra precautions and measures to ensure my property is being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. I want to assure all guests I have taken these extra steps to ensure the health and safety of all travelers I host.
    Located next to the famous “squinty” bridge, the apartment is walking distance from the SSE Hydro Arena, the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC), the Armadillo, and many more Glasgow landmarks. A short 10 minute walk will bring you to Finnieston which is vibrant with bars and restaurants which granted the area “the hippest place to live in the UK” by the Times 2016. A 10 minute taxi or a short walk will take you directly into the heart of Glasgow where the atmosphere, people and establishments will leave you smiling and eager to return. The trendy west-end is only a short ride away too! We provide guidance on places to dine, visit and see during your stay. Equipped with super-fast wifi, broadband and living room television, the apartment has everything to ensure your stay in Glasgow is to the highest standard with everything you could possibly desire. The apartment is very accessible from M8, M37 and M74 motorways as well as various, easy public transport options. Our property manager Dave deals with all airbnb bookings and is contactable round the clock should you have any issues. We kindly ask that no smoking is done in the flat and that you treat the space with respect. Due to a severe flood within one of the bathrooms in November, the flat has had two new bathrooms fitted, walls and flooring had to be replaced, I am sorry for any inconvenience caused for the last traveller in November who experienced smell from this problem, at that point I was unaware of the ongoing leak before the pipe burst.

The cupboards and fridge are always stocked with free coffee, tea and sugar . You have use of all of the appliances such as the cooker, toaster, oven, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine etc and your washing tablets are also included throughout your stay.

The property comes with secure, gated parking, lift access and is a mere 15 minute walk to the city centre.
    This striking two bedroom apartment is dominated by an expansive open plan living space with high ceilings and windows that maximise natural light.     This luxury apartment is nestled beside the beautiful Mitchell Library and enjoys a fantastic City Centre position, perfectly placed for gaining quick, easy access to one of the nicest areas in Glasgow - Finnieston, also the SECC / Hydro, the vibrant West End and City Centre.
    There is limited parking at the rear of the property although there is on-street parking at the front which is free after 6pm and during the weekend.
    Finnieston is a fabulously trendy area and is a stones through away from either the city centre where you can literally shop till you drop or the gorgeous west end, with its museums, cafes, restaurants and bars... meaning the hardest part of your stay will be deciding where to start first.
  • Het appartement is zeer gezellig, stijlvol en modern. De bedden zijn zeer comfortabel en het is overal zeer proper. Zeer warm binnen, ook al is het buiten heel koud. Het appartement heeft alles dat je maar nodig hebt: scharen, vorken, borden, kopjes, genoeg opbergruimte... Er is niets tekort. De locatie is perfect gelegen in het centrum. Je hoeft geen metro te nemen. Wij hebben alles te voet gedaan. Daniel heeft ons ontmoet en alles uitgelegd en is super gastvrij. Dit is de beste plaats om te verblijven in Glasgow.   • De beste plaats waar we zijn gebleven met Airbnb! Daniel was uiterst behulpzaam, hij ontmoette ons bij aankomst, gaf ons de rondleiding en liet ons er naartoe. Er waren veel kleine details die we erg op prijs stelden en die we bijvoorbeeld bij aankomst niet verwachtten, drankjes, lekkere koffie en melk, dingen die je niet krijgt, zelfs bij 5-sterrenhotels. De flat was stijlvol en netjes gelegen in een beveiligd blok. Locatie was erg goed en er was voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Zou niet aarzelen om hier weer te verblijven

    Fabulous traditional fully upgraded one bedroom apartment in a grand townhouse ideally located in the prestigious Park area in the real west end of Glasgow and just a 10 min stroll thru the park to shops and nightlife . With pocket sprung beds (twin or Superking ) high quality linen,& towels, full kitchen high speed BT infinity( 70) HD smart TV underfloor heating great shower and black out blinds .The apartment is also rear facing so there is no street noise it's silent and calm at night.
    The apartment is on the 2nd floor or an elegant Victorian townhouse build in 1853 . The entrance hallway has murals and the apartment has high ceilings with large windows affording views over the surrounding mews properties and is south facing making it a bright sunny place. The lounge has wooden floor a large comfy sofa and 70s retro recliner a small work area desk and an HDTV. The bedroom is carpeted with pocket sprung Superking size zip and link bed (so can be made up as two singles) with high quality bedding and pillows .Also it has a large freestanding bath and a walk in wardrobe . The kitchen is fully equipped dishwasher coffee maker etc with large food prep area and small dining area adjacent . The bathroom has underfloor heating a step in shower with good electric shower . It's a perfect bolthole for a few days whilst exploring Glasgow.
    The Park area in Glasgow was constructed in the mid 1800s and was home to many wealthy merchants during the great era of trade and shipbuilding on the Clyde .The buildings are grand Victorian in style with ornate blonde sandstone facades and the whole area feels very elegant. Since 2000 the area has transformed and become one of the most fashionable up market places to live in (URL HIDDEN) as the name suggests the area borders Kelvingrove park and Park Terrace looks directly onto the park from its elevated position with views to the spires of Glasgow university and beyond. 10/15 mins walk will bring you to Byres rd & Ashton lane , the heart of the west end, with endless choice of shops cafes bars and restaurants or newly trendy Dumbarton Rd also with great bars and restaurants or the famous Sauchihall St going the other direction and onwards into the city centre . 5 mins by cab will get you to the SECC and the Hydro and 7/8 mins into the city centre and the main shopping areas of Buchanan St and Argyle St. 5 mins walk brings you to bus stops and 10 mins walk will also take you to our nearest tube station at Kelvinbridge with direct tube trains to the city centre every 5 mins. Our location is without doubt hard to beat for all round access to explore all that Glasgow has to offer no matter what your interests whilst at the same time residing in an elegant peaceful neighbourhood to return to ......

  • De Oak Cottage is echt leuk en super gelegen in de keten. Vanuit de woonkamer en de slaapkamer heb je een prachtig, op een ansichtkaart lijkend uitzicht op het tegenoverliggende veld. Vooral vonden we het tweepersoonsbed zeer comfortabel en vooral de kussens (2 per persoon) waren zeer comfortabel voor Airbnb. De omgeving is perfect als u op zoek bent naar een plek om uit te rusten. Met de auto is het niet ver naar het Nationaal Park of naar het volgende dorp.

  • Echt fantastische locatie met uitzicht op de bergen rond Loch Lomond. Het huisje met twee slaapkamers en een slaapbank was perfect met onze zoonsfamilie in staat om ons te vergezellen. Faciliteiten uitstekend met tafeltennis bij de hand en tennisbanen maar we hebben zoveel gewandeld in de heuvels gedurende de dag dat de avonden werden doorgebracht met eten! Bedankt aan onze gastheren die ons verblijf zeer gastvrij hebben gemaakt. Zou het aanraden en hopen weer terug te komen, want de locatie is perfect om te verkennen.

    It is a nice, spacious room, ideally situated between the center of Glasgow and the West End, in Woodlands. As the name suggests there are some trees around, which gives the neighborhood a very friendly feeling. Also, the stunning Kelvingrove park is 5 minutes away, the Uni of Glasgow is 10 minutes, while the city center is around 15-20 minutes by foot or 10 minutes by subway. The closest subway station (Kelvinbridge) is 4 minutes away. There is also a Tesco on the other side of the building.
    It is a room in a shared flat, but my lovely (Italian and Lithuanian) flatmates are scarcely at home and they are the friendliest people. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom that are shared.
    The flat is just off Great Western road, a vibrant road area with many restaurants and cafes to choose from.

    I love the views from my flat ,it is in a peaceful area but close to shops and all transport links into Glasgow.[Ten minutes by train and twenty by bus into central Glasgow ]There is a large living space and a roof terrace with seats and BBQ.The local area has lots of shops and nearby are Pollock Park and Queen's Park.
    The unique elements of the space are the huge living area,large roof terrace with barbecue and wonderful views to the south west with its rolling hills and ever changing skies.
    Shawlands is an up and coming area of Glasgow with lots of shops,small cafes and parks such as Pollock Park and Queen's Park close by.The Burrell Collection,Pollock House ,Tramway and Citizen's Theatre are quite close by.

    The central location with only 2 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, sea front, buses, shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Excellent fishing, hiking, cycling within minutes too.
