Kasteel
“⁃Wawel Castle - mainly outside and the court of the castle. Visiting the chambers takes a lot of time, however, they are nice. Wawel is very famous for having a lot of arrases. I recommend going to the dragon’s cave (Wawel Dragon is a symbol of Cracow. When you go outside of the cave there is a dragon’s statue which blows fire every 5 minutes.”

History Museum
“You can see this museum with a guide (50 pln) or alone (25 pln). You can book the tour/buy a ticket before, to make sure you will enter. The museum is very nicely done, and worth visiting. It mostly shows the historical photos of Cracow and the history of Jews in here. The visit should last around 2h. ”

Buurt
“This neighborhood was once the heart of the Jewish community in Krakow. During World War II, Jews were forcibly moved out of Kazimierz to the ghetto. This neighborhood remained abandoned and neglected for many years after the war. In 1993, Steven Spielberg filmed the movie Schindler’s List here, and since then, people have come flooding back to the area, bringing with them shops, restaurants, and bars.”

“PUB/OLD TOWN/RIVERSIDE - grab a beer on the boulevard of the Vistula river. This old hotel is an important place in Krakow. You can find a forum of design there, a bit of art, ping pong table, a photo booth, and a club in the basement. Upstairs there is a sauna with a view for Wawel castle. Amazing parties during the summer. Beloved by youngsters and people with dogs and kids. It is literally the place for everyone. :) ”

Church
“The Cloth Hall may be the centerpiece of the Main Market Square, but St. Mary’s Basilica is the the highlight of a visit here. It’s this view of the church that you see so often on travel guides and blog posts, and there is more to do here than to just take a few photos.”

“The Underground of the Market Square is an interactive museum, which is located centrally under the Cloth Hall and the Main Square. The big advantage is the temperature there on hot, warm days.
