“Picturesque and photogenic Morialta Conservation Park is popular for walking trails and seasonal waterfalls. Highly recommended the plateau hike which allows you to enjoy great views of the Morialta gorge and Adelaide plains. Moreover, the park is undoubtedly one of the most reliable place in Australia to spot wild koalas. ”

“There is something for all ages and interests in the Coorong. The serenity, the sheer diversity, and the proximity to Adelaide make it an immensely popular park. Visitors come for bird watching, boating, kayaking, fishing, camping, walking, four-wheel driving and European and cultural history. The Coorong is also a wetland of international importance, supporting many significant and endangered flora and fauna. Both Encounter and Upper South East Marine Parks border Coorong National Park.”

“Located in the heart of Mundaring, the Park underwent a major redevelopment in 2016. One of the key attractions is the Ornate Crevice Dragon located in the sandpit, where children can dig for her eggs and insects. There is also the boardwalk tunnel onto the equipment and rocks to climb. Shaded areas are available, with free gas BBQs, picnic tables and a series of specially commissioned sculptural works featuring some of Western Australia's best known artists. ”

Trail
“Great for hiking, can continue on up to the top of Mt Lofty, which gives great City views & along the whole coastline. There is a cafe & souvenir shop at Mt Lofty, so you can have a stop & treat yourself to a snack/ meal before heading back down. A 2 hour round trip, plus time spent at Mt Lofty. Is a bit of a climb but could just do the walk to the waterfall if time or energy is lacking. Note that the waterfall flow depends on rainfall & time of year.”
