Koffiebar

“Tryst is a coffee shop reminiscent of Central Perk on Friends, with overstuffed sofas and table service. They have a much bigger food menu, and it's a great place for breakfast or lunch.”

Beer Bar

“Located above Birch and Barley restaurant on 14th Street near Logan Circle, ChurchKey, which opened in 2009, is a clubhouse for D.C.'s beer aficionados. Washingtonians flock to ChurchKey's long bar to work their way through its 555 labels, all selected by beer director Greg Engert. The menu here is equipped with 50 taps and special climate controls to ensure your beer is the perfect temperature. The massive list of drafts menu is divided into categories like "Crisp," "Roast," "Hop," "Smoke," or "Tart and Funky." The menu of bottled beers is so long that it's basically a book. No matter where you fall on the spectrum of beer fandom, head here to see what beer church looks like for the truly devotional.”

Lounge
$$
“Owned by the famed Thievery Corporation duo, this large space offers several rooms with live music including electronic, jazz, and reggae. Very quiet early in the evening, and offers happy hour specials until 8pm. Locals know the best place to dance is here on Sunday nights. You'll see some amazing moves and breakdancing, which occasionally gets competitive as people face-off to out dance others - but it's all in good fun. ”

Night Club
$$
“POV is the best place for a selfie! It has the best views! Drinks are expensive but worth it but have one drink, see the sights, get your photos and move on! It pairs well with eating at Old Ebbitt Grille, DC’s oldest saloon and a place across from the White House. Walk into Old Ebbitt Grille, which is close by, request a reservation, they will call you when your table is ready, and go wait with a drink and a selfie at POV. By the time your drink is finished your table at Old Ebbitt will be ready. I do not recommend eating at POV which I find over priced and so-so. The drinks at POV are worth every penny though. ”
