Art Museum
“Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA). It is the secret star of the Silo District and Africa’s largest art museum. It showcases the incredible art of Africa and its diaspora and is a truly world-class institution. The architecture alone makes the museum worth a visit. The building is made up of curved concrete lines, with light pouring in through the cylindrical structures. It’s housed in an important historical landmark – the old grain silos, built in the 20s – and the building gives visitors a stunning cross section of the old industrial site.”

Pop into Atlas Spices for Cape Malay spice and Rose Café for a traditional samoosa or koeksister (if they haven't sold out of them!)”

“A really well set out gem. Get a really detailed and fascinating perspective on how Apartheid tore apart the lives of locals in the little village of Simonstown - a microcosm of the devastation that marred the greater social and national matrix of our land and scarred our past heritage. ”

“Signal Hill, or Lion's Rump, is a landmark flat-topped hill located in Cape Town, next to Lion's Head and Table Mountain. The hill was also known as "The Lion's Flank", a term now obsolete. Together with Lion's Head, Signal Hill looks like a lion sphinx. Great for sunset picnics or just a view point with the car or hiking. ”

“After a short explanation, you and your pilot will take off from a mountain slope of Signal Hill under a canopy that resembles a parachute. Once inflated overhead, you will take just a few steps or a short run to take off from the gentle slope, the wind will catch the canopy and you will be airborne. In the air, complete control over direction and speed gives your pilot the freedom to soar ridges, rise on warm currents of air and cover distance. Great safety record so it's extremely safe and all pilots are highly trained. ”

“The Clock Tower is a truly interesting section of the Waterfront, taking its name from the central clock tower found in this part of the harbour. You access the Clock Tower either by crossing a pedestrian bridge over the water, or by taking the road that leads to the Cape Grace instead of the main Waterfront turn-off. There is a small shopping centre, a scattering of restaurants and some postcard perfect views to enjoy here. Don't forget your camera - you will want to get a shot of the iconic red clock tower!”
