Historic Site
“It’s on the top of the hill in South Boston, you will see it from the far - the white tower that looks like a church. It is hard to find the parking there but maybe you will be lucky to find the visitor space. Great place for the view of Boston and the dog walk. This location is close to Broadway (my favorite restaurants there are Capo, Lincoln and Loco and Lithuanian Club)”

Playground
“One of the bigger parks in the area. It has sections for both big- and little kids, with a water-play area. There is also a big lawn where the kids can run around. This park has full shade in parts of it all day so is good if you want to avoid the sun.”

“You are in luck. Sparrow Park named after a former Durham Street resident, Tennis Pro Titus Sparrow, is right down the street. In the Spring and Summer there are free summer concerts. You are so close you can hear the concert from the front door but walk 300 feet and you are in the midst of the live action. Join in the dancing, watch the boys play basketball and watch the tennis match it's all there for you. ”

“Gateway to the TD Garden over the Charles River Locks or to East Cambridge over the North Point Bridge. Popular for letting dogs run off leash. This park sits roughly near the spot Paul Revere took off for his famous ride to warm the towns of the British march to Concord.”
