In addition to the woodstove, it features bamboo flooring, a very comfortable queen-sized mattress along with all the essentials, including 2 hot plates, toaster oven, magic bullet & a new fridge with freezer.

There is a moveable desk & comfy loveseat facing the woodstove. There is room for a young child to sleep on the loveseat. Note: ceiling height is 5’10” - no smell compost toilet.

How often do you get the opportunity to stay in a converted school bus?

It's got a real couch as well as an awesome woodstove. The deluxe, queen-size bed has lots of storage space underneath it. The kitchen is fully equipped. The setting is stunning with an ocean view. It's within the wifi range of the house, yet it's in a private setting nestled up near our fabulous moss-covered rock hill. What more could you want?

It even comes with a sit-down shower with a private window and no-smell low maintenance, 'Nature’s Head' compost toilet with a forest view.

NOTE:. Guests staying less than a week are required to bring their own queen-sized sheets, pillowcases, and towels. We provide the pillows and duvet as well as dish towels, cloths, etc. Please bring your own bedding for a child if they will be sleeping on the couch.

Toegang voor gasten
* Laundry for guests staying a week or longer.
* Our recreational area with a pond and trails.
* Guests are free to wander the property and interact with our dogs.

Andere dingen waar je op moet letten
We are accepting reservations during CoVid for guests that assure us that they are not sick and haven’t been directly exposed to anybody who has had CoVid. Of course, we clean and disinfect the bus thoroughly between guests as well.

This is for non-smokers only. We both have strong allergies to smoke.

For guests that stay longer than a week, bedding and laundry facilities are available.

The kitchen is fully functional and has electricity. The sit-down shower is small but is fully functional with hot water and a frosted window. The toilet is the 'famous' Nature's Head, composting toilet. It is very easy to use and has no smell.

Ceiling height is about 5’10”.

We live in a gorgeous semi-rural area halfway between Sechelt and Madeira Park, both of which are only 20 minutes away by car. We are up on a mountain with wonderful views of the ocean, islands, and Vancouver Island. Properties on our street are all 10 acres in size.

We have two beautiful suites in our new home for guests and have begun the tiny home/glamping part of our project. We have 2 clean, bright trailers with large decks and in April 2020 we completed the conversion of this school bus.

We are developing the property for permaculture and have so far built a greenhouse, cleared and planted a small orchard, created several small ponds, and built a very productive raised bed garden area.

We are walking distance to trailheads including Homesite Creek with beautiful waterfalls.

Originally from Montreal, I moved to BC in 1988 and absolutely love it here. In 2017, my partner, Kito (orginally from Brazil) and I moved to BC's Sunshine Coast, where the energy is awesome, nature is abundant, people are friendly and the pace of life calm and very healing. Our home and 10 acre property is our haven. We enjoy getting travelling, nature, photography, art, gardening, eating healthy foods, building and learning new things, and spending time with family and friends. We're adventurous and young-at-heart and we're actively building a lifestyle that we love. Both Kito and I have owned several businesses and have done lots of business consulting and life coaching over the years. I love the freedom and flexibility that working for myself has given me. Airbnb is a big part of my life as I've been a Superhost for many years now; we also enjoy Airbnb when we travel. It's a wonderful way to experience new places and meet interesting and diverse people. My life motto is: "Life is supposed to be FUN!" I am a big believer in the Law of Attraction and I have a very positive outlook on life.

We are always up for meeting our guests, but if you prefer privacy and limited contact that is also fine with us. The bus is located in an area where the dogs don't go, but if you want to interact with them, you just need to come down the hill a few meters.
