This is an excellent base being only a few miles from the surfing beaches of the North Cornwall coast and the rugged moorland of Bodmin Moor. Take a trip to Padstow with its colourful and bustling quayside, gift shops and art galleries and treat yourself to some of Rick Stein’s fish and chips. For those who love the television series Doc Martin, make your way to Port Isaac and take a photo of yourself standing outside of the Doc's house and then relax over lunch as you gaze across the picturesque harbour.
