Close to shops & public transport. 12-15 mins from the city, beach and airport. A GREAT BASE for festivals and events, and parents visiting for student graduations etc. (Or a base for 2 week isolation in response to COVID19).
We prefer bookings of a minimum of 3 nights.
(We respectfully ask guests avoid loud music/TV. No parties. We live close by, and will respond to any complaints by the neighbours).

De ruimte
This apartment is on the first floor (no lift, one flight of stairs) in a quiet location. There is a QS bed in the main bedroom. There is a second bedroom with a single bed, but any additional guests need to be approved at the time of booking. We also have 2 single aerobed mattresses and bedding if needed. There is a washing machine (no dishwasher). The flat is not suited to very young children or animals.
Since listing this apartment in January we have:
Updated all the lights in the apartment
Put new carpets in the two bedrooms
Painted the main bedroom
Put in a smart TV for guests and hooked up an outside antenna.
(Guests with a Netflix subscription can access their own account, and we also provide access to Netflix for guests)
Installed internet for our guests which we make available at no extra cost.
Changed the old vertical blinds in the living area to a double blind system - one for the daytime, and the block out for evenings.
Put block out curtains in the bedrooms
Added a Nespresso style coffee machine (we provide some pods for guests; longer stay guests can purchase more from Coles in the adjacent shopping centre)
We will continue to update for the convenience of guests.
Note:
Strictly no drugs, and no smoking in the apartment (guests who wish to smoke are asked to do so away from the entrance to the building).
No loud parties.
Guests have one on site car park (strictly in the #17 car park allocated to the apartment which is at the rear of the property, to the right, near the clothes lines).
We do not charge for cleaning, so we do expect guests to keep the apartment clean during their stay.
There are NO HIDDEN COSTS per night. We think it's very good value for money!!
(Note: there is a smoke detector and following up on the Airbnb requirement for a carbon monoxide detector)

Guests have exclusive use of the apartment for their stay. There is ample storage for clothes. Provision of cutlery, crockery and cooking pots and pans and utensils. a washing machine etc. We reserve a cupboard for the cleaner.
Note: the light for the bathroom is left of the bathroom door as you enter.

We respectfully ask that guests comply with the strata rules expected of tenants in the adjoining apartments. A copy will be provided to guests. There is an off street parking spot (guests must only use the park assigned to the unit as per the strata rules). Guests use the assigned Council rubbish bin (#17, red lid) for general waste and the yellow lid bin for recycling. PLEASE put all glass, cardboard (compacted), plastics etc in recycling bin. There are outside clothes lines provided for drying clothes and a clothes airer but no clothes dryer.

The flat is set back from the main road but is conveniently located adjacent to shops, medical centre, take away cafes etc. Centro shopping centre includes Kmart, Coles supermarket, Liquorland, barber shop, take aways like Cibos and Nandos and Michels, bakery, newsagent, travel agent, chemist (pharmacist). Buses to the city and beach run along the main road frequently and it's a few minutes walk to the tram. We live in the area and love it! We can recommend a couple of local cafes within walking distance (The Empty Bottle in Beckman St next to Stop#8 tram stop, Froth and Fodder in Mortimer St behind Kmart shops). There is a laundromat and hairdresser in the shops behind Kmart. The bus to the city goes along Grote St in the city adjacent to Chinatown with great options for eating, and the bus (or tram) to the beach (Glenelg) takes you to a whole array of cafes and restaurants along Jetty Road.
If using the bus from the city, make sure it's not an 'X' (Express) bus because it may not stop at Bus Stop 7. Ask the driver.

Sandy is a full time (and more!) minister at Pilgrim Uniting Church in the Adelaide CBD. Proud grandparents of 3 wonderful grand-girls, one grand-boy and one on its way.
