Geweldige locatie

For a true Kerikeri experience, stay in our garden cabin surrounded by citrus trees and brightly-coloured flowers. Our cabin is rustic and comfortable: peaceful and yet also very close to town.

Food options are extremely convenient, with a café/bake house and also an Indian restaurant directly across the road. For more dining options – as well as a supermarket – central Kerikeri is a pleasant 850m stroll away. And at weekends, The Old Packhouse Market is just a few minutes’ drive.

De ruimte
A shared garage area separates the cabin from our home. You will have your own sunny patio to enjoy, complete with outdoor seating and privacy screening. Parking is directly outside the cabin.

The cabin has its own private entrance, and inside you’ll find a double bed, table, chairs, TV, spare blankets, a heater and the Wifi password. Linen (towels and bedding) is included in your stay at no additional cost.

There’s a covered walkway to the shared garage, which is just a few steps from your bedroom door, and it houses the shower, toilet, and kitchenette. The kitchenette has a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, mugs, glasses, plates and cutlery for your use. There aren’t any cooking facilities, but there’s an abundance of dining options in central Kerikeri.

Toegang voor gasten
Please note that we use the garage area too, but will keep our use to a minimum while you’re staying in the cabin.

Andere dingen waar je op moet letten
You’re welcome to pick the spray-free citrus fruit from our garden for your stay, when it’s in season. We grow oranges, lemons, limes and mandarins. If you’d like to take some fruit home with you, it’s available for purchase from our Farm Shop. The Farm Shop also sells fruit trees, flowering plants, and fertiliser. And the gardening advice is free!

Charging for electric vehicles is available for an additional fee of $10 a night, and a separate powered site (caravan socket or 3-pin plug) for motorhomes and caravans (max. 7m) is available for an additional $20 a night.

There’s no cleaning fee; instead, we ask you to leave the cabin as you found it. Basic cleaning materials are supplied.

No pets and no smokers. Please note we have a friendly cat on the premises that may come greet you. And if you need secure storage for bicycles, golf clubs, etc., just ask.

We are looking forward to welcoming you.

My wife Melanie and I have lived here since 2005, and love the Kerikeri area. I’ve previously worked as a tour driver; so if you need any tips on where to go (or want to talk about bowls or golf), just ask! Melanie’s passion is patchwork, and we both enjoy our garden. We also like talking about narrow boating in England, having done two English summers in our own boat. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our little slice of paradise.
