Located on the quiet main street of the historic Hudson River village of Coxsackie, NY, Room 3 offers bird's eye views of the town's quiet main street, a queen bed and double bed, full kitchen (fridge, stove, sink), lounge/dining area, private bathroom with shower, flat screen TV with Roku, WiFi, and AC/Heat. Your room is steps away from a gorgeous Riverside Park and a sweet Main Street with a General Store, Wine Shop, Breakfast spot, and Italian Restaurant!

De ruimte
Coxsackie is a small, historic Hudson River village. The 1800s brick storefront buildings all along the village's main street have been well preserved. You will be staying in one of them! Original wide plank pine floors warm up the room, and the view of the river is the main attraction. This unit is located on the 3rd floor above a quiet shopfront business and an office. You are also located one building over from the newly opened Mansion + Reed General Store (our own business!). You are just steps away from fresh coffee and snacks!

Waar je zult verblijven

Coxsackie, New York, Verenigde Staten

Coxsackie is a very small, quaint riverfront village perched on the Western banks of the Hudson River. We have recently opened our very own General Store! Located on the bottom floor of our building at 45 Reed. Come by and stock up on all the necessities for your stay with us and try out a great cup of coffee! Reed St also offers a wine shop, Italian Restaurant, breakfast and lunch spot, and an amzing Riverside Park.

Just up the hill on 9W, we have more restaurants, a pub, and a diner. The towns of Athens (with the award-winning Crossroads Brewery), Catskill, and Hudson are short 10-20 minute drives away with more great restaurants, bars, shopping, antiques. The surrounding area offers as many farms, orchards, and hikes as you could hope for.

I moved here from Brooklyn in 2015 after buying a set of 1850s brick storefront buildings located in the historic river town of Coxsackie, NY. I have been renovating ever since (haha). The guestrooms were added by the previous owner, so after some minor repairs and refreshing, I have 4 lovely guestrooms waiting to host your visit to the upstate! After a year of renovations my sister and I opened up a General Store in the empty storefront of our building. Now Reed Street has its very own shop providing organic groceries, craft beer, great coffee, and lots of local goods! More about Coxsackie: Coxsackie was once home to brick foundries and ice houses (harvesting ice from the Hudson River to ship to NYC). If you take a walk in the riverside park, you will find lots of weathered bricks and some flint rock that the area is known for. Coxsackie's Historic Reed Street District is brimming with potential that is finally starting to be realized! We have several new businesses on Reed Street, a hometown Italian eatery, and much new renovation planned for the unused buildings located at the end of the street. It will be fun to watch it all come alive over the next several years! As has happened on the East side of the river in Hudson, NY, people are starting to appreciate the historic character and close connection to nature that the Hudson Valley offers. Come and visit us, discover this charming village, and explore the beauty of the river, the nearby Catskill mountains, and other nearby Hudson river towns.

I live in the storefront building two doors down and split the General Store's shop hours with my sister, so I am always close by to offer help or suggestions. Your privacy and personal enjoyment are important to me, so you won't see me unless you want to! Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you need anything at all.
