Air conditioned 1000 square foot, light filled studio with full kitchen and private bath in secluded rural setting 5 minutes from I 93 and in between Newfound and Squam Lakes. The space is ideal for personal retreats, romantic get-aways, and family vacations. Ample private parking, private entrance, outdoor lawn with perennial gardens with dining table, chairs and grill. Covered front porch with seating. For guests who want solitude, this is a perfect place, as the owners are t'ai chi teachers and respect quiet. Within a short walk there are family farms, streams, hills and beautiful vistas, but it is minutes away from the University, the Flying Monkey, shopping, canoe rentals, and a great variety of excellent restaurants. There is no public transportation- you will need a car, or a bicycle. Verizon cell phone is the only reliable network. There is Wifi, but no tv.
An adorable cabin to stay in while you ski at the newly re-born Tenney Mountain Ski Area, or spend the weekend snowmobiling through the many miles of trails which are accessible just at the across the street. Much hiking and lake fun at nearby Newfound Lake to be had during the warmer months; or just relax to the babbling brook off the covered back deck Built by Tenney Mountain co-founder John French and used for many years as housing for ski patrol, a lot of good times have been had here.
