At the arrival I will offer you breakfast, and I will give you a lab coat and a cap for the access to the production area. I’ll bring you along a complete tour to discover all the steps of Parmigiano Reggiano’s production. We’ll see where the animals are bred and where the milk is mould. We’ll go into the cheese factory during milk processing and we'll witness in cooking and making cheese wheels. We’ll see then the process of salting and maturing up to enter the huge “caveau”, where thousands of cheeses wheels are guarded and laid out in long rows in the silent maturation rooms and where the scent of cheese will smell so nice and exciting that we won’t be able to resist till the final tasting of cheese and local typical products.

I’m deeply connected to my roots. My grandpa was a producer of Parmigiano so as a child I could learn all the secrets of this cheese. We will see the places I have lived since I was a child, where my uncle still produces this cheese with the same passion that we share.I love conveying my knowledge to people from other countries, which I try to share the culture and traditions of my homeland with.

Such an amazing experience. I highly recommended to anyone visiting the region. I got a great insight into the work and passion and the process that goes into making parmigiana reggiano. It was also really fun visiting the farm and meeting their cows and seeing how much they care for them too. Their cheese Is absolutely delicious and I really enjoyed meeting Claudio. He made me feel very welcome and he himself is a very interesting and fun host.

Claudio was super nice and informative. You wouldn’t be able to experience anything like that without him. It’s all about family business and tradition, so it had a nice personal touch. We are very happy about this trip!

Claudio looked after us superbly well. He collected us from the train station and returned us there afterwards. He’s friendly and extremely professional, and very passionate about the tradition he has grown up in. He makes the whole experience very memorable. It is great to see the whole process of cheese making and you actually get to see it in a very real and personal way. His explanation of all aspects are very interesting. The tasting of cheese, local meats and wine is of course beautiful at the end.

Unforgettable. The tour was amazing. Claudio was clever, knowledgable, and prepared! We cannot say enough about how entertaining and informative (and delicious!) the experience was. We had the good sense to do both tours from Claudio (we did the Balsamic tour as well) and we strongly encourage you to do it too! We were taken care of from start to finish. Out hearts (and our stomachs) were full by the end of the tours. Thank you Claudio!

We highly recommend this experience! Claudio was a great host, and Reggio Emilia seems like a great town! We got to see the whole parmigiano reggiano cheese making process, meet the cows, and of course taste. The maturation room was probably my favorite part! Claudio was very personable, and you can tell her knows his stuff! Don't miss this one!
