Wat je gaat doen
This Experience explores 2 magical towns located in Jalisco´s prettiest mountains. Among our activities: in Amacueca we will get involved in the crafted coffee production. In Tapalpa we will do a 20 minute hike to “the gigantic stones”. The idea is to get along with Mexican cultures while experiencing nature at its best. If you join I will pick you up 10am. After an hour drive we will be in Amacueca, a town surrounded by springs that have been controlled for centuries by the habitants, to grow many fruits, vegetables, nuts, cactus and coffee. Coffee production had a boom in the beginning of the 20th Century, but gradually decreased because the markets demanded quantity not quality. Today, the town is engaging a new role with better offers and greater values. In Amacueca we will visit a ranch, a production plant and a gifted shop, to have some drinks and snacks. Around 1:00pm we will head to Tapalpa . First we will adventure to the gigantic stones. Then we will head downtown to walk around. And finally we will have dinner in an exquisite restaurant. We will head back around 6pm. Depending on traffic, the ride takes about 90 minutes. You will be dropped off in your address.

Waar je naartoe gaat
Amacueca means “water that returns”. Today the water is used for a diversity of crops. The coffee, for example, grows below the Nogal nut tree, which provides shade and protection. Tapalpa gigantic stones (biggest in Mexico) are considered among the most sacred gods for the indigenous people. Today Tapalpa has the “magical town” denomination by the Mexican Tourism Secretariat. Both locations are provincial and extremely picturesque
