We will explore the less visited areas of the Brecon Beacons and climb some of the highest peaks in the area. On the day we will take into account the current weather conditions before making a decision on what route we will safely take, that saying you will receive an unforgettable experience with the some of the best views a camera can capture. With the weather on our side we could stride out to the highest Peak in South Wales, Pen Y Fan, via a route that takes us past waterfalls and gives us magnificent views of the mountain before we summit. This would be a strenuous but rewarding 18km hike. If the weather is wet, windy and generally horrible we could visit some of the best waterfalls in the UK where we will have the opportunity to walk underneath one - an experience not to be missed! Throughout the day I will impart local knowledge on various topics and draw your attention to amazing things that most will walk by without noticing. All you will need is your hiking gear, a camera and a packed lunch to enjoy the day.
