Sail aboard a small traditional tall ship from Newport Beach in Southern California to the remote island paradise of Catalina. Experience the adventure of charting a course based on the wind and tide to cross the San Pedro Channel. Relax and enjoy the adventure of sailing all day in this no-rush mode of travel. Experience the thrill of sea spray on deck or take cover in the pilot house and enjoy the ocean views, where you'll see sea birds, sea lions, and possibly dolphins. Once at Catalina, we will moor the boat in a harbor outside the tiny town of Two Harbors, where we will be able to kick back and enjoy the serenity of the remote island destination. We will spend some time relaxing on the island, hike to at least one scenic outlook, and have the opportunity to swim, snorkel, and kayak in the clear cerulean waters. Two nights will be spent in our on-board sleeping accommodations. For a boat her size, Mayflower's sleeping spaces are generous, though short on headroom. The two queen-sized bunks in the aft cabin and two single bunks in the forward cabin sleep a total of 6 passengers. Six meals are included, and one will be free-for-all (there are food options on the island).
