Our guide is a modern-day cowgirl and has been a certified horseback riding instructor for 20 years. We’ll drive from Denver to her working horse ranch, The High Plains Drift Inn, in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We’ll head to Monarch, Wolf Creek, or Taos ski resort to do three full days of skiing or snowboarding. When we’re not on the slopes, we’ll ride horses around the ranch, visit Great National Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls, eat delicious food, bathe in the world’s deepest mineral hot springs, and go hiking into the hills to spot wildlife.
