Wat je gaat doen

Renowned as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Qutub is so much more than one of the most readily recognised visual symbols of Delhi. The tower stands tall overlooking the site where it all began... From the first mosque of Delhi to the tombs of some of its greatest rulers, the Qutub complex has witnessed history on a grand scale! We'll shadow the hidden stories of time, spanning across the time of the Rajputs, the invasion of the Turks, the establishment of the Delhi Sultanate, the opulence of the Mughals and the follies of the British. Evoking life as it was centuries ago, we connect the built heritage with stories, using our imagination to bring the past alive. A celebrated monument with a forgotten history... come walk through the complex with me and unearth the riveting stories that time has left behind.

I run a travel venture, 'Trails with Tales' embedded in the raw and rustic roots of authentic travel, connecting a place with the stories that have transpired there over time. Stories of its history, its locals, their culture. Being based in Delhi for over 10 years, I have acquainted myself with its rich history, its imperial cities and the abundance of heritage, resting in its ruins. Every turn in Delhi has a monument that dates back centuries, lost in the haze of time. Join me in unearthing the Delhi that lies beyond its glass malls and elite culture, bringing back to life a forgotten era.
