Wat je gaat doen

The activity will be online, once you sign up you will receive a login code. Whether you decide to just observe or make the recipe yourself as we go is totally up to you. During the experience, I will share tips and tricks on how to make delicious moist scones that have a nice golden crust on the outside: we will make the basic dough, which can be filled with a variety of flavors, then we'll form the discs, cut them, then bake some of them. The recipe is for American scones, which are a different from British scones.
Disclaimer: Please note that while Gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan options are available, I have not had extensive experience with them so I can't guarantee the results, however it is possible to make them with alternatives.

I loved this class! It was my first one on airbnb and it was super fun and easy. I have the recipe to make over and over again. I liked that I could personalize my flavors and the recipe is so versatile.

We thoroughly enjoyed this class. It goes by super fast for 90 minutes, and even while the scones were baking we kept the conversation going. Loved that you can add whatever flavor you want. We made peach and vanilla scones and are trying not to eat them all right now. We would definitely come to another class.

Can’t recommend this course and the instructor enough! I am dairy free and try to limit my gluten intake and the instructor responded to MULTIPLE messages in advance of the course about substitutions. He was down to earth, personable and friendly. Would take another class with him again. Oh - and my dairy free, gluten free scones were DELICIOUS!

If you have food allergies or sensitivities don’t pass this opportunity up. I appreciate Andrea’s time answers my substitution emails as well as checking in throughout the experience about how they were going. I appreciate his help in improving the dough as we worked through the recipe. I appreciate being able to chat throughout the class and hear from others (not just the host). Andrea is one of the best experience host EVER! PS I made gluten free scones with almond milk and they were absolutely delicious!

Great experience with a good experienced host and delicious results. I made 2 flavors during the class - peach and green apples with butterscotch chips. Yummy!

If you are looking for an a activity to enjoy with your family and friends, we highly recommend this activity. My mum was struggling to make scones for a while now and this class really helped her perfect her home baked scones. I can attest to that! Andrea was so helpful and patient as we took a while to set up and get our groove going. Exchanged great stories and a sense of friendship :) a million thumbs up!

Never baked? No worries! This class is meant for you too. Just make sure you have all the ingredients/tools lined up and you'll be just fine. Keep the butter in the fridge until the last minute though!
