Wat je gaat doen
The tour for English and German speaking visitors of Bath starts on Pulteney Bridge and leading to the classical unique historical sites of Bath but also visiting places which are not necessarily found in the standard program of general Bath tours. In doing so I intend to bring this fascinating city closer to visitors from several historical and modern days perspectives.
For the more recent history the fascinating canal locks of the Kennet & Avon Canal are included and viewed, as well as the Pulteney Radial flood Gate of the River Avon.
THE BEATLES IN BATH 1963
Fans of the 'Fab Four' will have a chance to visit the famed 'Pavilion' concert hall and view the photo gallery where THE BEATLES performed on June 10th, 1963 as part of their 1963 U.K. tour with Roy Orbison. Details of this event will be explained as well as topics about THE BEATLES' legacy in general.
On very special request a stopover in the spectacular nearby St.John RC church can be arranged to pay tribute to John Lennon while your host will play 'Imagine' on the church organ.
A stone throw away from the Jane Austen Centre we'll visit the boutique hotel FRANCIS HOTEL on Queens Square for a stop over where THE BEATLES overnighted after their concert to show gallery- photos on display in the hotel.
Songs from the 1963 'Please Please Me' album will be played
during a stop over at the Irish Pub .

While I lived in Bath I studied the history of this fascinating city and gained an extensive knowledge in a wide variety of areas associated with Bath. Through hosting this tour I am pleased to be able to convey this knowledge to my guests.
THE BEATLES inspired me to become an active musician in a BEATLES Tribute Band here in the UK.
