Wat je gaat doen
We meet in a beautiful Andalusian pueblo to head off walking. With experience as a walking guide in this area, we'll take a walk best suited for you (couples & families welcome; dogs too!) – the most important thing being the tranquility & clarity that arises while we walk & talk. Walking & talking, we'll work though anything you want in a calm setting while feeling the emotional and physical benefits of walking among nature. We can do some meditation & mindfulness in the mountains, or take a beach walk to try an amazing method to wash away any worries. Well-being Walks can help with anything that’s causing emotional disturbance, unhappiness or discontent: be it physical, spiritual or mental health – that are all most often connected. Or perhaps you just need a fresh look, a re-evaluation, to deal with a current crisis or change, a boost to revitalise or prepare yourself for a new chapter in life, a look at your life now or in the past, or you’d like to grow and develop in a certain way. I look to the 12 Steps recovery programme, psychiatrist Carl Jung, self-help author & motivational speaker Wayne Dyer, plus my own knowledge gained in 20 years of recovery & self-improvement – & from helping many people in that time thrive to realise meaning, wellbeing & happiness. Well-being Walk experiences usually last two hours – but can be for up to four hours if you wish.
My background is as an experienced Health Writer for most British newspapers & magazines as well as writing books, most recently co-authoring positive mental health book The Anxiety Conversation with a leading psychotherapist. I have a Diploma in Counselling (with Distinction), & spent a number of years counselling & helping establish the ManKind relationship & mental health charity. I’m a National UK Therapists Register member. I've been in recovery & looking into self-improvement for 20 years. I also have experience as a walking guide in the mountain ranges of Andalucia. Well-being Walks are hugely beneficial for mind, body & spirit: combining a gentle (harder if you wish!) physical activity among the tranquility of nature with talking therapy. I love helping people thrive in all ways & to realise meaning, well-being and happiness.

Waar je naartoe gaat
We walk on various stunning national park mountain routes, depending on your health & fitness. These start at Nerja, Frigiliana, Maro or Torrox. Some routes are virtually flat, easy & gentle; others can involve a little more physical effort (with views that are worth it!). We can also choose to stroll among shaded tranquil wooded areas, plus routes that take in pools, streams & waterfalls. As well, we can walk on peaceful beautiful beaches.
