Wat je gaat doen
We will take a journey along the less-beaten path of travelers and experience the life of a local. Get a bird's eye view of the busy part of the island, witness daily work and village life, visit a park - Samui style, and finally take a walk around our city. I will meet you at the Central Festival shopping center where we will begin our exploration in an air-conditioned car. It fits a maximum of 4 passengers (including me). If your group is more than 3, please let me know to make alternate transportation arrangements. We will make stops at the following places: Khao Hua Jook Pagoda - An orientational introduction to the island. This temple is set on a steep hill with magnificent 360 degree views over the northeast part of the island. Hua Thanon Fishing Village - Meet the locals in a Thai-Muslim community. Here you will see a large fleet of fishing vessels, a wet market, the island's only Mosque, Guan Yu Shrine, and more. Wat Nam Tok Hin Lat - See what Samuians like to do in their free time here at this waterfall and temple. Nathon Town - Visit the administrative area and main ferry port of Samui. There is also lots of good souvenir shopping and tasty street food that is set in a mix of rural city and old trade port town architecture. We finalize our trip with a relaxed ride back to the shopping center which completes the full circle around the islan

Hi there! I am a Thai who was raised in Canada since an early age. My native language is English and am also fluent in Thai. After completing my studies, I moved back to Thailand in 2003 to work for my family's small resort here in Samui. I quickly fell in love with the island's charm and have seen it grow drastically over the years. As a long time resident here, I regularly meet new people and enjoy connecting and exchanging cultures. Being a photography enthusiast, I often like to get out and explore the island, camera in hand, to capture scenes of daily life and its natural beauty, which has given me a more intimate connection with this place I call home.
